Researchers might be interested to know that Scaife genealogy has occupied the minds of several other people in former times. The most widely known of these was Muriel Mary Regisa Callow Scaife whose book, "The Scaife Family - Notes Historical and Traditional," was published in 1925. This is available for examination in most of the copyright libraries of the UK. Muriel was descended from the Brampton Scaifes.
